Here at Check Hire we are devoted to delivering bespoke solutions. From hiring a single mirror ball to a full rock stage, no job is too big or too small. From town halls to tee-pees, marquees, wedding venues to concerts halls we do them all. We are a friendly company, with a passion for delivering a hassle free, quality service. We aim to assist you in making your event sparkle, while helping your creative side flourish, adding that wow factor to your special occasion. We have a wide range of equipment, not just limited to lighting. This enables us to deliver a tried and tested concept with a modern twist, making your day one to remember.
Our Aim
To make lighting hire simple, easy and quick. Check Hire was born out of the difficulty I experienced when renting kit for my own events. Wanting to find a simple solution, I brought some equipment and went on my own. As we have grown so has our hire stock. We now have a unit bursting at the seams with all kinds of kit. The core team are; Alan, Bradley, and myself. We work closely together and all worked hard to provide the best service for our customers and have a lot of fun along the way.
Meet The Team
Matthew Hedges
I am the one behind Check Hire. My company was born out of my continuing passion and hard work. I am enthusiastic and creative. I enjoy working with customers to produce amazing events and help their ideas become a reality. It gives me great satisfaction to see the smile on a customer’s face when the kit is all packed up and they are already planning how we can help them with their next job.
Alan Gasking
Alan has been with us from the start and continues to work with us as we grow. We work closely together to achieve great things. Alan is responsible for transport and logistics, getting your kit to whichever location your event may be in. Alan can always get it there safely and on time. He also assists in rigging our kit at events.
Bradley Bandy
Bradley is a true lover of all things LOUD and a talented DJ. When we are asked for a DJ for an event Bradley is always our first recommendation. He is also one of the event team and can be often found up a ladder rigging lighting equipment.
